ABOUT US
Industrial-scale carbon
removal technology
Trinity Biocarbon is a climate technology company
that designs, develops, and operates biochar-based
carbon removal projects.
Trinity Biocarbon is developing
its first project in Egypt.
Employing state-of-the-art technology, Trinity Biocarbon converts waste biomass into high-quality biochar that can be used in a variety of applications, provides verified atmospheric carbon removal services, and generates renewable energy. The project addresses several global and regional challenges including climate change as well as food and water security.
OUR MISSION IS TO DRAWDOWN ATMOSPHERIC CARBON AT SCALE WHILE DEVELOPING BIOCARBON-BASED PRODUCTS THAT PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY AND THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY.
We are a team of engineers,
scientists, and investors with
an innovative and practical strategy
for addressing the climate crisis
THE TEAM
There is growing scientific evidence indicating that current and future emission reduction commitments are not sufficient to meet the objective of limiting global temperature rise to 2 °C by the end of the century.

This necessitates the development of innovative solutions to remove carbon from the atmosphere.
concept
Biochar-based carbon removal is a robust and cost-Effective strategy that is scalable and ready for immediate deployment.
Carbon sequestration is the process of capturing atmospheric carbon and storing it in a stable form for extended periods. This can be achieved using nature-based and engineered solutions, as well as hybrid systems. Biochar is a hybrid system that relies on nature to capture atmospheric carbon through photosynthesis, followed by a thermo-chemical conversion process, referred to as pyrolysis, that stabilizes the carbon into a form that can resist degradation for centuries. The resulting biochar can then be safely stored in various carbon sinks for extended periods, completing the sequestration process. Additionally, the conversion process generates renewable energy.
